Visit Milwaukee teams up with Bucks' Bobby Portis to promote the city

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Visit Milwaukee has teamed up with one of the Bucks' fan-favorites, Bobby Portis, to promote the city for tourists to come visit.

They promoted several tourist attractions/things to do in Milwaukee in a hype video. The video included the Milwaukee Public Market, Bradford Beach and spending time at the lakefront.

Portis recently signed a 4-year/$49 million extension with the Bucks.

Visit Milwaukee Vice President released a statement regarding the partnership:

“Since Bobby has made a name for himself as a fan favorite and an emotional leader with the Milwaukee Bucks, we thought it would be fun to have Bobby bring the same energy to promoting the great things to do in Milwaukee during the summer,” says Josh Albrecht, VISIT Milwaukee’s Vice President of Marketing & Communications. “Whether that is volleyball at the beach, coffee on a patio, boating on the river or a trip to a museum, we know there is plenty to get excited for.”

Bobby now becomes the city's hype man and Milwaukee could not be more excited!
