MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ian Thompson of Visit Milwaukee spoke with us Wednesday, March 5 to offer a preview of some fun local events taking place over the weekend.
KC and the Sunshine Band will perform at the Riverside Theater at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, celebrating 50 years of the band's signature R&B and funk style.
The Milwaukee Public Museum will hold its annual Food & Froth event Saturday. Attendees 21 and older can sample food and beverages from over 60 breweries and restaurants starting at 6 p.m.
Wehr Nature Center will host Maple Sugar Days, an educational maple syrup event, Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9. Activities include guided hikes and demonstrations; tickets can be purchased online or on-site.
Also, Friday Family Fun: Baseball Bonanza will be held at The New Fashioned on Friday, March 7. It is scheduled to include baseball trivia, giveaways for Brewers opening day tickets, as well as food available for purchase.
