MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Julia Meehan of Visit Milwaukee joined us on Thursday, April 16 to preview a packed weekend of events around the city.
The Milwaukee Film Festival is underway and runs through April 30 at the Oriental and Downer theaters. Opening night features "Ueck," and Saturday's lineup includes "Gaslit" at 2:30 p.m. at the Oriental.
Friday night, the Milwaukee Public Market hosts a Gallery Night pop-up from 4 to 8 p.m. on its second level with free live music, a pop-up bar and handmade goods from local artists.
Lakeshore Alive takes over Pebble Beach on Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. with free activities including kite building, guided bird walks, s'mores and a chance to light the Hoan Bridge at dusk.
re:Craft and Relic's Spring Market runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with more than 160 vendors. Admission is $7 Saturday and $5 Sunday.
