MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More than 50,000 people were once expected to attend the Democratic National Convention, a chance to show off Milwaukee to the country and world.
Now that the convention is virtual, Visit Milwaukee says it still hopes to reach the people tuning in for the convention.
Visit Milwaukee created two commercials and 30 other videos highlighting Milwaukee.
"For us to be able to use this convention and showcase everything that is great about Milwaukee to the television and online audience at home that’s a fantastic opportunity that we were just not gonna let us pass us by," said Kristin Settle, Senior Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Visit Milwaukee.
Lilo Allen, co-founder of The Bronzeville Collective, was featured in one of the videos.
"It's amazing. It's really dope for a spaces like ours to be featured in such a prominent way," she said.
