MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation's annual Stronger Together Gala was moved online this year.
Wednesday night's event featured stories from cancer patients and their family members.
It also featured celebrity guests, including Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby.
Crosby's wife, Molly, just recovered from cancer.
She says the Packers have been a big help.
"It's kinda all about picking your team. And we're fortunate. To begin with, the Packers picked Mason and it doesn't get any better than that," she said.
Organizers say the event should serve as a reminder that even during the pandemic, people continue to fight battles with cancer.
