Chain-reaction crash involving MCTS bus captured on video, police seek suspects

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) released camera footage Friday, of a multi-vehicle crash that caused a collision with one of their buses. 

Police are still seeking suspects in the chain-reaction crash that happened back on Dec. 31, around 2:38 p.m. near 30th and Fond du Lac Avenue. 

Video shows the striking car hit a second vehicle, causing that vehicle to collide into a third and fourth car. The fourth car then crashes into a Milwaukee County bus. 


Police say the occupants of both the striking vehicle and the second vehicle hit fled on foot. 

The 69-year-old driver of the fourth vehicle hit was taken to a hospital for treatment, and the bus driver and passenger - a 39-year-old and 48-year-old - were also transported for treatment.
