Vehicle vendor sales to be banned on parts of Capitol Drive

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Vendors parked in vehicles will soon no longer be able to sell anything on parts of Capitol Drive.
From Highway 100 and Capitol to 76th and Capitol, vendors will not be able to sell food, clothing, or any other items.
The Milwaukee Common Council approved the legislation last month.
The ban is set to take effect on March 16.
The alderman in that district says it comes from traffic safety issues, as well as cleanliness concerns.
