Vaccines at a movie theater: Marcus Corporation may help distribute vaccines

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As vaccine distribution efforts expand across the country, you soon could be able to get your shot a movie theater.

Marcus Corporation has confirmed their locations may help with giving vaccines.

The president and CEO of the company says this could mean offering their parking lot for drive-thru services or even their indoor facilities.

"We wanted to offer any help that we possibly could from our perspective and show our civic duty," Rolando Rodriguez, president and CEO of Marcus Corporation, said. "It's our corporate social responsibility that ideally if we could provide places where people can actually get this injection as quickly as possible to help our communities, we are all for."

The company is now waiting to hear back from health officials and government agencies on when and how to move forward.
