Vacant Warehouse to Become Homeless Sanctuary

A vacant warehouse will transform into a community center for the homeless in Milwaukee.

MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary will unveil plans today to develop a five-story building.

The community center, located on center street, will eventually offer daytime solutions for the homeless, including a meal program, showers, clothing, and recovery support.

In the future, the 2nd through 5th floors of the building will be transformed into an employment center, health clinics, and an interior urban agriculture center.
