VA 2K Walk and Roll Takes Place in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee VA is encouraging veterans and civilians alike to stay active today with its annual VA 2k Walk and Roll.

This is a nationwide effort to both encourage healthy habits and collect donations for homeless veterans.

Organizers of the local walk say it's not big but it does a lot for the homeless vets in our area.

Last year more than 25,000 people took part in the walk at VAs around the country and more than $300,000 was raised for homeless veterans.
