UWM uses threes to bury Oakland, extend home streak

The Panthers of UWM hit a season-high 13 three pointers in an 84-67 win over Oakland Tuesday night at the UWM Panther Arena.

Steve McWhorter led the Panthers charge with 17 points, nine assists and foul steals as Milwaukee picked up its fifth consecutive win at home. The Panthers have 10 wins overall on the season.

Jevon Lyle added 15 points, Akeem Springs 13 for the Panthers (10-15, 5-6 Horizon), who hit 57% of their three point attempts on the night.
