A suspicious package caused a lockdown near the US Capitol on Tuesday, according to Washington Post.
U.S. Capitol Police said to the Washington Post the west side of the First and East Capitol streets are clear.
Lines of people were waiting at the side of the US Capitol building instead of directly in front as security personnel were in the area.
Police activity all clear and all roads in the area are now open. #dctraffic
