Upper Iowa University- Milwaukee Center Sponsoring 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at Hunger Task Force Food Drive

CBS 58 is teaming up with Brewers Community Foundation and Hunger Task Force on Wednesday before Thanksgiving to help feed Milwaukee-area families in need.

Upper Iowa University- Milwaukee Center will be making a donation of collected food to Hunger Task Force the day of the event.

On November 23, the three organizations will host the “Thanksgiving Drive Thru Food Drive” at Miller Park. Food can be dropped off at Helfaer Field at Miller Park on November 25 between 5:00 am. and 6 p.m.

Upper Iowa University- Milwaukee Center will be sponsoring the event from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. They will be handing out flash drives to donors.

Food is being collected before the event at 620 S. 76th Street, Milwaukee.

Preferred foods for donation are: turkeys, festive holiday foods, peanut butter, cereal, macaroni and cheese and pasta.

Each vehicle stopping by to donate food items will receive a Brewers bobblehead and other items while supplies last. A number of Brewers special guests will be on hand throughout the day to collect donations as well.
