UPDATED: Pedestrian struck, killed by school bus on freeway ramp

UPDATED: Sheriff's deputies responded to the I-41 southbound on-ramp this morning at 8:18 a.m. where a bus had struck and killed a pedestrian and the dog he was walking.
The driver and twelve children on the bus were not injured.
Paul F. Illemann, age 69, of Milwaukee, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting MCSO with the crash investigation by performing the bus inspection.
MCSO Criminal Investigation Division is conducting the crash and death investigation. The school was providing a psychologist to speak with the children.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
