UPDATE: Man Pulled From Milwaukee River Dies

UPDATE:  A man pulled from the Milwaukee River early this morning has died.  Milwaukee Police confirm that the man died at a local hospital.  As of now, the man, believed to be in his early 20s, is still unidentified.  Around 12:45 AM, witness saw the man go into the Milwaukee River around the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge.  The Milwaukee Fire Department Dive Team was called, quickly located the victim and pull him from the water.  They began CPR and transported the individual to a local hospital where he later died.  The Milwaukee Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

An unidentified man in his early 20s was pulled from the Milwaukee River early this morning and is being treated at a local hospital.  The Milwaukee Fire Department Dive Team was called to the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge around 12:45 AM after people walking in the area saw a man in the Milwaukee River.   Fire Department  divers were able to quickly locate the victim and pull him from the water.  They began CPR and transported the individual to a local hospital. 

The Milwaukee Police are investigating how the man went into the water and have yet to identify the individual.  The man’s condition is unknown at this time.
