UPDATE: Jermichael Finley's release date from hospital changing

MILWAUKEE -- During his weekly radio show on ESPN Wisconsin Tuesday, Aaron Rodgers confirmed he visited injured player Jermichael Finley in the hospital.

\"The medical staff does a real good job isolating the neck,\" Rodgers said, \"There's been some great examples of taking care of guys in that situation. I was able to go see him (Finley) at the hospital. I was definitely encouraged by the movement and improvement he's making. You never want to see your brother go down with an injury like that.\"

A source tells CBS 58 Sports Anchor Earl Arms that Finley's release from the hospital has been pushed back to at least Thursday.

He is then expected to be recuperating over at least the next 4 to 6 weeks. The team always has the option to sit him out longer, which could mean a lost season.

Coach Mike McCarthy said what was most important that whatever decision is made, it is best for Finley.
