Universities of Wisconsin respond to reports of UW Regents home vandalism and pro-Palestinian notes

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) - The Universities of Wisconsin system has confirmed that some UW Regents recently had their homes vandalized, while others had free Palestine notes on them. 

In a statement provided by spokesperson Mark Pitsch, the UW system is condemning the vandalism:

This kind of conduct is not free expression or protected speech; it’s dangerous, unlawful, and unacceptable. We have contacted the authorities and are working closely with them. Anyone with information regarding these illegal activities should contact local law enforcement authorities and the UW-Madison Police Department.
