UnitedHealthcare launching sweepstakes for Move More Month, raising money for Boys & Girls Clubs

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As a way to get people up and moving, UnitedHealthcare is launching a sweepstakes and national fundraiser.

April is recognized as "Move More Month" which celebrates the health benefits of walking. To show their support, UnitedHealthcare is starting the Step Up for Better Health sweepstakes which will help raise $25,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs. The sweepstakes also gives participants a chance to win an Apple watch (10 available), a $100 gift card to Foot Locker (100 available) and NERF ENERGY game kits (100 available).

People can sign the plan to walk more at uhcwalkingmaps.com which offers 10,000-step walking routes in more than 50 cities nationwide including Milwaukee. As part of the campaign, UnitedHealthcare is donating $25,000 on behalf of the first 25,000 pledgees to Boys & Girls Clubs to help reduce childhood obesity.
