WAUWATOSA (CBS 58) -- A local chocolate shop is raising money to help the family of Officer Rittner, and other families of fallen officers.
Ultimate Confections, located at 820 North 68th Street in Wauwatosa, is selling chocolate badges with a mourning band on them.
Each badge is $2.
The money raised will go to the Milwaukee Police Association Fallen Heroes, Inc. fund.
The owner, Pat Murphy, says there has been a fantastic response from customers.
They started making the chocolates Thursday night.
"I just feel like these people wake up every day and they go to work and they don't know if they're going to come home safe and you know, three officers in the last 7 or 8 months in the line of duty, it's just getting frustrating," said Murphy.
Murphy says he plans to continue selling the chocolates for awhile.
