UCLA Placed On Lockdown After Reports Of Active Shooter On Campus

UPDATE: Police are reporting two were shot on UCLA Campus. 

ORIGINAL: WESTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday investigated reports of an active shooter on the campus at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

Shortly after 10:00 a.m., campus police sent out an alert notifying students and faculty of a possible “active shooter” in Boelter Hall.

Students have been told to shelter in a secure place.

The campus has been placed on lockdown.

Campus police have not yet confirmed if there has been a shooting.

At this time, no injuries have been reported.

 Los Angeles police are responding to the 400 block of Hilgard Avenue in response to the incident.
