Two vehicle collision leads to car striking a bus shelter and pole, driver in critical condition

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee police are investigating a serious accident that happened in the 1200 block of Oklahoma around 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8.

Police say a car was making a left turn when it collided with a second car who was traveling straight.

The impact of the collision caused the car that was going straight to strike a bus shelter and a pole. The driver, a 19-year-old man, sustained serious injuries. He is at a local hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the turning vehicle, a 44-year-old man, was not injured and was arrested.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the upcoming days.
