Two suspects from Milwaukee arrested after putting gun to victim's head, demanding money at Lomira gas station

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) --  A 56-year-old woman was the victim of an armed robbery at the Exxon gas station in Lomira on Tuesday around 1 a.m.

The victim was pulled over by West Bend Police for reckless driving and she told them that she was just robbed while trying to purchase a bottle of water from the gas station. According to the victim, three suspects demanded money from her and a female suspect put a gun to her head. Her phone was taken.

At 1:44 a.m. a Washington County Sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle for traveling in excess of 100 mph southbound on I41 near Cty Tk K. The driver, a 19-year-old City of Milwaukee woman, told the deputy she was lost and trying to find a friend that ran out of gas. The woman did not have a valid driver’s license and called a friend to pick her up.

Washington County Sheriff's Deputies conducted an additional traffic stop on USH41. It was determined that the subjects of that stop were the suspects from the robbery at the Exxon gas station. The driver, a 20-year-old City of Milwaukee man, did not have a valid driver’s license and is currently on probation for auto theft. One of the other passengers, an 18-year-old City of Milwaukee female, is also on probation for auto theft and has a violent criminal history to include a robbery conviction in August of 2016. During the course of that stop, another passenger, a 16-year-old City of Milwaukee female juvenile, was also taken into custody for obstructing.

During the traffic stop at USH41, the deputy observed evidence of drug use and a search was done. A small amount of marijuana, unauthorized prescription medication, and a loaded handgun were located inside the vehicle. The victim's cell phone was also recovered. The deputy also determined that the three individuals were responding to the scene of the first traffic stop to pick up the 19-year old woman.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has the following charges as a result of the incident:

The 19-year-old female driver was cited for speeding and criminal operating without a valid driver’s license.

The 20-year-old male driver was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of stolen property and possession of a prescription medication without a prescription. He will also be cited for operation without a valid driver’s license, operation left of center, no insurance and false display of registration.

His passenger, the 18-year-old woman, was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm.

The other passenger, the 16-year-old female, was arrested for obstructing.
