Two People Wounded in Early Morning Incident

Two people were injured in an early morning shooting in Milwaukee today.   The Milwaukee Police were called to a home in the area of N Palmer Street and E North Avenue around 1:15 AM Wednesday for the report of a double shooting.  According to the Police, a household escalated to gunfire when one person retrieved a firearm and shot both victims.  The victims, a 36-year-old female and a 16-year-old male were taken to a hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department where they were treated for their wounds.  Both are expected to survive their injuries.  The MPD is searching for a known suspect in this incident.
