Two Milwaukee Teenagers Arrested after Carjacking and Armed Robbery on North 54th and North 36th Streets

Two Milwaukee teenagers were arrested after crashing a stolen vehicle after allegedly committing two armed robberies, according to Milwaukee Police.

The pair stole a 2011 Honda Odyssey in the 3500 block of N. 54th Street around 8:20 AM on Thursday.

According to the victim, a 44-year-old Milwaukee man, the two suspects approached him, demanded the car at gunpoint, and then fled from the scene in the Odyssey.

The suspects are then believed to have committed a similar armed robbery about 15 minutes later in the 1900 block of N. 36th Street.

Around 1:00 PM, officers saw the stolen Odyssey in the area of N. 55th Street and W. Hampton Avenue.

A pursuit was initiated and the suspects crashed the car in the 3300 block of N. 51st Street. The suspects fled from the car but were arrested following a short foot chase.

 Officers also found a sawed off rifle inside the car and one of the suspects had on him property that belonged to the victim in the Odyssey carjacking.

The suspects arrested are two 16-year-old males and MPD is searching for a possible third suspect. One of the teens has previous arrests for Entry into a Locked Vehicle and Operating a Vehicle without Owner’s Consent.
