Two Men Shot in Milwaukee, One Fatal
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police are currently investigating two overnight shootings.
The first one happened shortly after 11 p.m. on the 4200 block of W. Fairmount Ave. A 22-year-old man became involved in a dispute with another subject. During the dispute, the subject fired several gunshots at the victim. The victim drove himself to a local hospital where he was treated and is expected to survive.
The second shooting happened shortly after 12 a..m. in the 3300 block of N. 15th Street. The Milwaukee Police Department responded to a shotspotter alert in the area when they found a man shot several times. Officers performed CPR which was taken over by the Milwaukee Fire Department. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim died from his injuries.
Police continue to search for suspects in both cases.
