2 men injured in Milwaukee overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shooting incidents overnight Tuesday, Dec. 22, into Wednesday, Dec. 23. 

According to police, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man was seriously injured near N. 26th St. and W. Melvina St. around 11:30 p.m., Tuesday night. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

Around 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, a 21-year-old Milwaukee man suffered a serious gunshot injury near N. 97th St. and W. Beatrice Street. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.

Investigation into both incidents have been ongoing.
