Foreign exchange student in South Milwaukee in need of new home
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Two kids were hit Tuesday morning near 84th and Lisbon, according to Milwaukee Police.
Investigators believe a car went around a school bus and hit the kids. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
A woman who works nearby says children frequently visit the shop she works at for candy before school.
"When my boss and I came out to see how the girls were, the only thing that we had heard was that the girls had been running through a crosswalk and were apparently hit by a car," said Karen Vojtas.
The driver of the car stayed on scene and spoke with police.
