Two injured, one seriously in separate incidents Sunday night

Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened Sunday night.

According to the Police, two people got into a verbal confrontation around 8:45 PM near N 35th and W Hadley Streets.  One of the individuals pulled a gun and fired shots at the other.  The victim was struck and was taken by the Milwaukee Fire Department to a local hospital with what is described as a serious gunshot wound.

A second shooting occurred around 10 PM near S 6th Street and W Greenfield Avenue.  The victim was walking when he was approached by two subjects.  Police believe the two may have been attempting to rob the victim.  A struggle ensued and the victim was shot.  Police say he was able to get to a hospital on his own and was treated for a non-life threatening wound.

The MPD is seeking suspects in both incidents.
