Two injured, one arrested for OWI in Waukesha near head-on crash

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people are seriously injured, and one person has been arrested for OWI following a head-on crash in Waukesha, according to police. 

Emergency crews responded to the crash in the 3000 block of N. Grandview Blvd. at around 11:08 p.m. on Monday, July 6.

The preliminary investigation indicates the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on N. Grandview Boulevard when they collided in a near head-on crash.

All occupants involved in the accident were taken to the hospital.

Police arrested one driver for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) Causing Injury. 

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to assist with the investigation and conducted a crash reconstruction of the scene.

All roads that were closed for the investigation are now open.

The incident remains under investigation.
