Two injured in separate shootings in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police are investigating two Thursday evening non-fatal shootings.

A 28-year-old man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound while walking near N. 29th St. and W. Villard Ave. around 7:20 p.m. The victim walked into a local hospital for his injuries.

According to police, circumstances surrounding the incident and suspects are unknown at this time.

In a separate shooting, a 31-year-old man was shot by suspects in a vehicle, while standing outside near S. 9th St. and W. Bruce St. around 9:55 p.m.  

Authorities say the victim was dropped off at a local hospital and is in stable condition. MPD continues to investigate.
