Two injured following car versus semi accident near 5th and Lapham

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two people were seriously injured following a car versus semi accident on Monday evening.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. near 5th and Lapham.
The Milwaukee Fire Department confirms that two people had to be extricated from the car. They were both taken to local hospitals. There is currently no word on their condition.
The cause of the accident has not been released.
Milwaukee Police remain on scene investigating.
