Two injured after double shooting near Fiserv Forum
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that happened near Fiserv Forum around 2:18 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6.
Officials say the shooting occurred near 3rd and Juneau.
A 32-year-old Milwaukee man sustained a serious gunshot wound is being treated at a local hospital. A 32-year-old Greenfield woman also sustained a minor gunshot wound and is at a local hospital.
Police say both are expected to survive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. No suspects have been arrested.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, police are also investigating the following overnight shootings:
14th and Chambers
Around 4:45 p.m on Saturday, a 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot near 14th and Chambers. The woman is being treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The shooting is under investigation and no suspects have been arrested.
19th and Center
A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was shot Saturday around 8 p.m. near 19th and Center. He is being treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The shooting is under investigation and no suspects have been arrested.
17th and Hadley
A non-fatal shooting occurred Sunday around 4 a.m near 17th and Hadley. A 32-year-old man, 38-year-old woman, and a 42-year-old woman all from Milwaukee sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital. A preliminary investigation said the shooting was a result of a dispute between individuals at the location. This is an ongoing investigation and MPD are seeking unknown suspects.
27th and Kilbourn
A non-fatal shooting occurred on Sunday around 5 a.m. near 27th and Kilbourn. A 50-year-old man was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation is active and there are no known suspects.
