Two hurt following fiery crash on I-94 in Jefferson County

JOHNSON CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) --- Two people are injured after a fiery multiple vehicle crash on I-94 in Jefferson County on Sunday, May 30. 

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), the crash happened at 10:42 a.m. on I-94 westbound near Johnson Creek.

Officials say on arrival there were two vehicles on fire. Med flight was needed due to the injuries on scene. 

I-94 westbound lanes were closed for over an hour due to blockage from the crash. All lanes have since opened. 

Jefferson County and Lake Mills Fire and EMS officials responded to the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
