Two free flu shot clinics in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- The flu is hitting the Milwaukee area unusually hard this season and St. Vincent De Paul is hoping to help ease the number of cases by giving out 100 free flu shots Tuesday and Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Shots will be available on a first come, first come basis between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Tuesday at 2628 N. Martin Luther King Drive and Wednesday at the same time at 931 W. Madison Street.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says the flu is widespread with more than 550 hospitalizations since October 5.

It's recommended that everyone 6 months of age and older get a flu shot.
