Police have now charged two people in the death of a 24-year-old Milwaukee man.
Loved ones held a vigil for Johnathan Evans over the weekend. The father was killed Saturday on N. 29th Street, just one day after his Birthday.
According to the criminal complaint, the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. A witness told police, Evans got into an argument Saturday night with the mother of his child, Chiqweeta Coleman, and Donte Brown.
According to the witness, the argument escalated and Brown shot Evans multiple times, killing him.
Brown faces a reckless homicide charge which carries up to 60 years in prison.
Coleman is charged with aiding a felon.
