MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It was back to school for more Milwaukee students on Tuesday.
"Today is certainly special. It's an opportunity to give out hugs, do shout outs over the intercoms, and have assembles to make sure that it's a fun day for the kids," said Anthony McHenry, Chief Executive Officer, MAS.
The 1,100 students at the Milwaukee Academy of Science returned to classes Tuesday morning.
School officials say they are working on building relationships with students to give them the best opportunities to succeed and to create an environment that makes kids want to go to school.
