Truck Crash in Bay View

A truck knocked down several trees in Bay View overnight and wedges driver in cab.
It happened around 11:30 Thursday night.
It appears the truck went down an embankment from I-794.
The truck landed on its side near Oklahoma Avenue and Ellen Street.
Our crew on the scene saw one person being taken by ambulance. That person was awake and seemed alert.
A man who drove up to the scene describes how he helped get the passenger out of the crashed truck. He also tells us it took the firefighters more than half an hour to get the driver out of the car.
The witness says the passenger seemed unharmed.
