'Tripoli Shrine Circus' headed to Wisconsin State Fair Park in May 🎪

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) - Carden International Circus has announced the return of the "Tripoli Shrine Circus" to the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis. The circus is set to deliver eight performances from Friday, May 5 to Sunday, May 7.

In the Tuesday, March 21 press release announcing the dates of the circus, the Carden International Circus noted that they have been entertaining audiences for over 60 years with a real three-ring circus experience featuring acrobats, aerialists, daredevils, clowns and more.

The circus will be led by Ringmaster “Lucky” Malatsi, showcasing acts such as jump roping break dancers, hair-hanging aerialists, foot juggling and contortionists. The Carden herd of Asian elephants, guided by animal trainer Florin Moraru, will also take center stage.

Doors open one hour before show time, offering pre-show festivities including performer meet and greets, animal rides and interactive activities.

Tickets can be purchased online or at Wisconsin State Fair Park one hour before show time. General admission tickets are $10 for children 12 and under, while adult tickets are priced at $25. A limited number of $35 floor seats are also available.

The circus schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, May 5 - 4:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 6 - 11 a.m., 2 pm, & 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 7 - 10 a.m., 2 pm, & 6 p.m.
