Traffic resumes on I-94 East following report of suspicious package

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office temporarily closed I-94 East near the Zoo Interchange following reports of a suspicious package.

The Milwaukee Police Department's bomb squad responded to this incident. The suspicious package was found on the sidewalk of the 92nd. Street bridge over I-94. They determined the suspicious package was not explosive or hazardous.
