Town in Northern Wisconsin Issues Emergency Lake Closure

Wausau, Wis. (WSAW) The Rome Police Department issues emergency lake closure to watercrafts.
Effective immediately, Lake Arrowhead, Sherwood and Camelot are closed to all motorized boat traffic.
Under the town ordinance, the lakes will remain closed until the water returns to safe levels for a minimum of 18 continuous hours.
According to press release, operating a boat during the lake emergency on the lakes could result in a citation of up to $187.00.
