Tournament Time: Badgers get 9 seed in field of 68
INDIANAPOLIS - It's been a long two year wait for college basketball fans. And as the NCAA Tournament starts, the Badgers are hoping to break another drought - four years between Tournament wins.
Wisconsin received a number 9 seed in the South region of this year's NCAA Tournament, which will be played entirely in the state of Indiana. The Badgers and 8th seed North Carolina battle Friday at 6:10PM Central in West Lafayette in a game you can see on CBS 58.
UW struggled over the final two months of the season, but each of their last seven losses came against opponents ranked in the AP Top 25.
The winner of the Wisconsin-North Carolina game will likely face #1 seed Baylor in the second round.
