Tolzien throws 3 INT as Packers lose third straight

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - Scott Tolzien threw three interceptions, despite throwing for 339 yards, as the Packers lost 27-13 to the New York Giants Sunday.

Tolzien, making his first ever NFL start, showed increased poise, especially on long throws downfield. He also stayed interception free in the first half, as a 57 yard Mason Crosby field goal helped the Packers go into the locker room down only 10-6 at halftime.

Even in the second half, Eddie Lacy's touchdown put the Packers down just seven points early in the fourth quarter. But Tolzien began a drive with an interception that Jason Pierre-Paul returned for the touchdown that iced the Giants win.

Green Bay has lost three straight. They play the Vikings and Lions over the next 11 days, as a team and a fan base awaits the return of QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone).
