Time Insurance to close and layoff 1,200 in Milwaukee

Assurant's subsidiary Time Insurance Company will be closing and laying off 1,200 employees in its Milwaukee facility on August 14.
It is anticipated a total of 1,700 employees will eliminated from the company nationwide.
It is estimated that a roll-down process will take 18 months.
