Tiffany's Dessert Bar at Bayshore is expanding and taking its sweet treats on the road

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Tiffany Gilmore went from banker to baker in 2021. Now, after years of sweetening up her customer's days, she is expanding Tiffany's Dessert Bar. 

"This is just my way of making sure that I'm meeting the customers' demands," said Gilmore. 

Gilmore is taking her treats on the road with a dessert truck. 

Tiffany's Dessert Truck will serve private parties and public events. 

You can grab a cupcake, a cookie or a slice of the confection that started it all. 

"I started the business just as a fluke." said Gilmore. "I was invited to dinner and asked to bring the cheesecake, and when we got to the restaurant and were seated for dinner the cheesecake was eaten before dinner was served, so, money was being passed around the table." 

Those were her first customers, and it was the beginning of her journey as an entrepreneur. 

Tiffany's Dessert Bar will still be located at Bayshore Mall. It is not a retail location, so orders need to be placed in advance. However, the new dessert truck will offer individually slices of cake, cupcakes, macarons, cookies and much more on the spot.
