Three Separate Shootings Investigated by Milwaukee Police

Three separate shootings on Sunday are being investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department.  Fortunately, none of the shootings were fatal.

The first of the three shooting occurred early Sunday morning.  Around 4:45 AM a 22-year-old man told Milwaukee Police that he was walking into his house near S 32nd and W Rogers Street when an unknown person fired a gunshot at him.  He was struck by the bullet.  The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the non-fatal wound.

A second shooting occurred around 8 AM.  According to the MPD, a 27-year-old man was walking to the store  in the area of N 64th Street and W Silver Spring Driver when a vehicle pulled up beside him, and a known suspect in the vehicle shot the victim.   The suspect in the vehicle then drove away from the scene.  The wounded man was treated at the scene and then taken to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.

A third shooting occurred around 3:35 PM in the area of N 16 Street and W North Avenue.  According to the MPD, a 22-year-old man was shot during a disagreement with another individual.   During the argument, the suspect drew a weapon and shot the victim.  The young man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.

The Milwaukee Police are continuing to investigate all three shootings and are looking for suspects in each of the cases.
