Three Milwaukee teenagers arrested after stealing a car in Menomonee Falls, fleeing from officers

The Menomonee Falls Police Department responded to a report of a theft of a maroon Plymouth Breeze in the area of Appleton Avenue and River Crest Drive.

According to police, a responding officer located the vehicle and a red Jeep Liberty following close behind. Upon signaling the vehicles to stop, both vehicles fled. The Jeep Liberty was not apprehended. The Plymouth Breeze attempted to elude officers as it traveled into Germantown, Milwaukee, and Mequon.

The vehicle was found abandoned near County Line Road and N. 76th Street. The occupants fled on foot.

According to police, a search of the area was conducted and the three Milwaukee juveniles, ages 13, 14, and 15 were taken into custody. Two of the juveniles held warrants for previous violations.

Other calls for service received around the time of this incident indicate that the three juveniles in custody may have been involved in a series of thefts and an attempted theft that occurred prior to the eluding.

The investigation remains under investigation.
