Three local men charged in connection to North 96 Street shots fired

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man, a 25-year-old Milwaukee man and a 28-year-old Oak Creek man, were taken into custody on July 6 for shots fired at N. 96th Street on July 5. 
Milwaukee Police officers arrested the three men and recovered four guns on the city’s Northwest Side. 
The arrests stemmed from District Four officers responding to the 9000 block of N. 96th Street around 1:20 a.m. on July 5 after a citizen reported shots fired from a wooded area. 
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found three men inside a vehicle with four guns. Officers also located a large amount of spent casings matching the calibers of the recovered guns. 
All three men face charges of Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon. Two of the men also face Carrying a Concealed Weapon charges. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
