Third Ward Alerted to Man with Criminal Past

Milwaukee Police Department has alerted business owners in the Third Ward to a man who has been associated with aggressive panhandling, loitering and prowling in the neighborhood.
Police confirm to CBS 58 the man was arrested last week for burglary and committed a strong armed robbery in mid-September. Thursday night he was ticketed, but is not in custody.
The man has been seen pulling on front and back doors of closed businesses looking for entry.
The man is not wanted by police, but MPD wants to make the public and business owners aware of his past. If you see the man you are encouraged to call police at 414-933-4444.
