MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Mothers of Milwaukee Symposium returns Saturday, April 11 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Abundant Faith Church of Integrity, 7830 W. Good Hope Road
The free event is open to all women and childcare is available. Milwaukee First Lady Dominique Johnson joined us on Monday, April 6, to discuss the symposium and how to register.
This year's theme is "The Many Journeys of Motherhood - Every Season Matters," with sessions covering topics including overcoming trauma, navigating the empty nest, balancing work and family, mothering through a child's illness and dating as a mother.
Attendees will also have a chance to win a laptop at the event.
