The Packing House Restaurant Collecting Money for Family of Murdered City Inspector

It's all hands on deck Friday, the 31st, at the Packing House on Milwaukee's southside.

The restaurant wanted to find a way to honor the memory of Greg "Ziggy" Zyszkiewicz.

$1 from every fish fry sold until closing will go to a family fund.

The staff has been preparing all week and anticipates serving up some 1,900 fish dishes.

That's double the typical Friday.

The general manager also extended an invitation to Ziggy's loved one.

"They are very very thankful," GM Chris Wiken tells CBS 58 News. "I’ve had each and everyone of them reach out in some way and say this is just incredible what you are doing. We’re glad to help."

The drive-thru will open at 2 p.m.

The restaurant is open until 10 p.m.

There will also be donation boxes at the restaurant located at 900 E Layton Ave, Milwaukee.
